All About Me
Hello! Welcome to Mrs. Loney's Fifth Grade webpage. I am honored to spend my days with inquisitive, hard-working, young learners. I truly believe teaching is a privilege!

I earned my elementary education degree at Concordia College in Moorhead, and I completed a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Southwest Minnesota State University in 2005. I have been a member of the Northland Community Schools faculty since 1996, teaching in both the Remer and Longville buildings. I have been a second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade teacher. I also spent five years teaching Reading Recovery and H.O.T.S in our Title I program. I've even taught high school French! Oui, c'est vrai! After many years in the fifth grade classroom, I am excited to return to Title I for the 2018-19 school year!

Mrs. Loney's Mission

My goals are that every child feel supported, safe in taking risks, and pride in their accomplishments. I want my students to know that they have the ability to reach any goal they set for themselves. With hard work and encouragement, all can achieve.
